Naturally shed deer antler has been artfully arranged to create this small accent bowl. The antlers are joined together at the base of the bowl using what the artist calls magic–a labor of love and time along with minute attention to detail and respect for the natural material.
A Casper, WY based artist, Shawn passed away earlier this year. He was know for his beautiful natural fused antler wall art, bowls and lighting. Shawn was a master at transforming discarded physical remnants of the past into modern design elements of the present. With influences in his work that span from the cowboy on the range to Wyoming wildlife and his family’s steel and recycling yard, he creates art from a truly unique perspective. Shawn has been published in <>Mountain Living, Big Sky Journal, Cowboys & Indians, The Jackson Hole Scout Guide, Mosaic, and 307 Magazine. He has participated in group and solo gallery and museum exhibitions. Shawn has also worked with top interior designers and architects in lighting design and sculpture.
