Born and raised in Upton, Wyoming Eric Shell spent his childhood exploring the forests around Upton. Upon graduation Eric spent four years in the army and six years working as an aircraft electrician. Ending up in Cody and working under and learning from John Gallis from 1994-2004. “The experience I gained working with John opened up a whole world of creativity and inspiration”. Most of Eric’s pieces take design cues from past furniture stlyes such as Arts & Crafts, Art Deco, or Mid-Century, but the natural elements he incorporates dictate the final overall look. Quality work and solid construction techniques take priority and help make each piece one-of-a-kind. Eric won WDC Exhibor’s Choice & Switch Back Ranch Award in 2003, and Best of Show at Cody High Style in 2007.
