Jordan Mackey grew up outside a rural town in the Midwest. Visiting her grandparents in Cody, many times through the years contributed to inspiring her love for nature. Growing up in the country presented her with various animals, woods, ponds, and creeks to explore to her hearts content. She could be found many times eyeing a beautiful still life of nature, creating works of art, or enjoying the outdoors fishing and camping. Masterpieces could be made of a multitude of mediums such as scrap wood, Missouri mud, pieces of paper, pencil, paint, scraps dug out of the trash, or whatever she found that her artist’s eye found to be appealing.
Jordan grew up working in a shop, as baby her father would bring her in her car seat to be with him while he worked. Learning how to weld and use various other tools at the age of 11 she found a love for envisioning a piece in her mind and making it come to life. Her family owns a small business in creating furniture from repurposed wood and learned it is her passion to do so. Jordan’s desire is to create amazing pieces that others can love and cherish.
